The Development of Learning Method in Immunology Using Sarcastic Debate

Abstract


To develop learning method in immunology, sarcastic debate was used as a learning activity at Faculty of Medical Technology, Huachiew Chalearmprakiet University. Five domains of learning skills–namely, ethical and moral development, knowledge, cognitive skill, interpersonal skills and responsibility, and communication and information technology skills were assessed by 104 students. The results showed that all 5 domains scored more than 4.0 from Likert Scale as satisfaction in this activity (4.59). The activity is one of the teaching strategies that incorporate all five domains of learning for developing potentiality of medical technology graduates.
